Young teenager dead and another injured in two separate shooting on Rochesters east side

Around 10:20 PM tonight officers responded to Fourth Street near Pennsylvania Avenue for reports of a person shot. Upon arrival officers discovered a young teenager the age of 16 who suffered at least from one gunshot wound.

The young teenager was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, after a short time later was pronounced dead.

A separate shooting occurred before this one near the 700 block of North Street near a rec center. officers located a male who suffered at least one gunshot wound he has non life-threatening injuries.

The major crime units are investigating the young teenagers murder. There are no suspects in custody for neither shootings.
