Two shot on Dr. Samuel McCree Way


The Rochester Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday night that left two males injured. According to the Rochester Police Department they received 911 calls for a person shot around 6:15pm in the 200 block of Dr. Samuel McCree Way in Rochester, New York. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 17-year-old male had sustained a gunshot wound. The 17-year-old male victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

While investigators were conducting their investigation of the shooting, they were advised that a second victim, a 31-year-old male, was taken by private vehicle to Strong Memorial Hospital.

The Rochester Police Department has advised that the 17-year-old male victim’s injuries are non-life threatening. The 31-year-old male victim is in critical condition.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident. No suspects are in custody.
