Two people shot on Parkway near Lyell Avenue

On Saturday evening just before 9:00pm the Rochester Police Department responded to Parkway and Lyell Avenue for a person shot. When officers arrived on scene, they did find evidence of a shooting, but no victims.

As officers were investigating the scene, one male victim arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital via private vehicle with a gunshot wound. A second male victim, also with gunshot wounds, arrived at Rochester General Hospital by private vehicle.

Both victim’s conditions are unknown.

The Rochester Police Department has confirmed that both males were shot on Parkway near Lyell Avenue.

The Rochester Police Department is still investigating the incident and is asking the public to avoid the area for the next couple hours.
