The “Park Avenue Rapist“ arrested charged with multiple incidents

In press release Rochester police say "Rochester Police Department responded to an address near Park Avenue and Culver Road for the report of an attempted rape. The victim stated that at approximately 2am, she was walking home alone, when someone grabbed her from behind and attempted to rape her. This began an intense investigation by Officers from our Goodman Section and Investigators from Patrol Section Investigations. Over the past week, Investigators identified 26-year old Hayden Cypressi as a suspect. As part of this investigation, Investigators began looking at previously reported incidents as to their potential relationship to Cypressi, as well as they uncovered an unreported attempted sexual assault."

Rochester Police Officers took Hayden Cypressi into custody and executed multiple search warrants related to this investigation.

Hayden Cypressi has been linked to 4 separate incidents since the beginning of May.

Hayden Cypressi was transported to the Monroe County Jail and he is expected to be arraigned tomorrow morning in Rochester City Court

Hayden Cypressi, age 26, is charged with

Rape in the 1 Degree (C Felony) and Sexual Abuse in the 15 Degree (D Felony). He's charged with multiple Attempted Rape in the 1st Degree (C Felony) and Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree (D Felony).
