20-year-old killed in shooting on Hardy Street

The Rochester Police Department has confirmed that a male was shot and killed on Hardy Street Saturday night.

According to the Rochester Police Department, on Saturday night just before 10:00pm they responded to 100 Hardy Street for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on scene, they found 20-year-old Tymir Thomas sitting in a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his lower body.

The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Rochester Police Department advised that there are no suspects in custody.
