Suspect arrested and charged with weapons possession in Hancock Street standoff

Rochester Police arrested a male after a standoff at 47 Hancock Street in Rochester, NY. Officers were initially called to the location for a male with a firearm. As officer's arrived on scene, they surrounded the residence and secured the area. The Rochester Police Department's Swat Team was about to enter the residence when the male and a female exited. The male and the female were taken into custody.

The Rochester Police Department stated that the male, 44 year old Terry McIntyre was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, and Menacing 2nd degree.
