Rochester Schools close due to water main break in city

In a statement released by the Rochester City School District "Due to a water main break, all

RCSD schools and buildings will be

closed on Thursday, December 22. All school-related activities are also canceled. Rochester City School District staff are not expected to report. No transportation will be provided for charter, private/parochial, or urban-suburban students. We will update you with more details when they become available. Thank you."

This is after a water main break happened in the city of Rochester near Ford Street.

Students are expected to return back to school Friday, December 23.
