Rochester homicides reaches double digits after another person was killed on Peckham Street

Around 12:20am the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of 25 Peckham St for the report of a male not conscious nor breathing. When officers arrived on scene they found one male victim in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body, he was pronounced dead on scene.

The Rochester Police Department‘s major crime unit responded to this murder investigation. It was also discovered that some type of altercation occurred with an unknown suspect with this victim.

Police say this incident does appear to be isolated, no additional information will be released at this time.

The major crimes unit is asking anyone with any information to call 911.
