Police chase ends with 2 people arrested

Rochester Police say no one is injured after a man hit a police car on Avenue D Friday night.

Officers chased a vehicle with two people in it around 9:30 p.m. after they say they believed someone in the vehicle had a weapon. They say that they chased the vehicle for nearly two miles before it pulled over.

When the driver pulled over, police say the driver then reversed the car, hitting the front of a police car.

A gun was found in the vehicle and one person was taken into custody.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident.
