Person shot and killed on Lyell Avenue

One person was injured after being shot around 8:35 P.M Saturday night.

This happened near 400 Lyell Avenue. Saturday night officers responded to this area for reports of a person shot.

Upon arrival they discovered one male in his 20s was shot with a serious injuries to the upper body. The male was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounce dead.

There are no suspects in custody. This is Rochester New York’s 54 homicide.
