Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle on Lyell Avenue and Glide Street

On Monday around 4:30 P.M as Rochester New York had heavy rainfalls a vehicle is driving down Lyell Avenue and Glide street when a pedestrian was crossing the street.

The pedestrian did not have the right away and the driver cannot see the pedestrian behind the city bus that was stopped at the bus stop.

The pedestrian struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene after lifesaving measures were attempted.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was cooperating with police this was determined to be a fatal accident, no foul play was involved.
