Pedestrian killed on Lake Avenue

A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night around 8:30pm on Lake Avenue in Rochester, New York.  The Rochester Police Department responded to the 600 block of Lake Avenue for a report of a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle.  When officers arrived on scene, they found a 43 year old male with serious head injuries.  The male was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The Rochester Police Department is still investigating the incident.
