Overnight shooting kills one

On Sunday morning around 3:30am the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of North Plymouth Avenue and Ambrose Street for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 30-year-old male laying in the street with a gunshot wound to his torso.

The male was transported to University of Rochester Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The Rochester Police Department advised that this is still an ongoing investigation. No suspect is in custody.
