One shot another stabbed Friday night


23-year-old shot on Seneca Parkway


On Friday night just after 10:00pm the Rochester Police Department responded to Rochester General Hospital for a person who showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound. When officers arrived on scene, they were able to confirm the 23-year-old male did sustain one gunshot wound to his body.

The Rochester Police Department has confirmed that the male was shot on Seneca Parkway near Raines Park just before 10:00pm. After being shot, the male was driven to Rochester General Hospital by private vehicle.

The male’s injuries are non-life-threatening.

The Rochester Police Department advised that they have no suspects in custody. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.



Male stabbed on Malling Road

On Friday night at 10:45pm the Rochester Police Department responded to Malling Road and St. Paul Street for a report of a person stabbed. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 35-year-old suffering from a stab wound to his body.

The male victim was transported by AMR to a local hospital to be treated. The victim’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident but have advised that they have no suspects in custody.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
