One dead and another in critical condition after dirt bike crash on Hudson Avenue in Rochester

On Monday night around 6:50pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Hudson Avenue and Avenue D for a report of 2 people on a dirt bike that were involved in a crash with a vehicle. When officers arrived on scene, they found 1 person lying in the roadway who was pronounced dead on scene. A second victim was transported from the scene to a local hospital.

The second victim's condition is unknown at this time.

The vehicle that was involved in the crash with the dirt bike is still on scene.

This is still an active investigation and the Rochester Police Department is asking people to avoid the area.
