One dead after being shot at Cobbs Hill Park

Rochester Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at Cobbs Hill Park.  Officers responded to Cobbs Hill Park located at 100 Culver Road on September 11, 2020 about 10:05pm for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they did not find a victim, but they did see signs of a shooting.  While officers were investigating the scene, 20 year old Issaiha Mathis arrived at Rochester General Hospital with a gunshot wound to his torso.  Issiaha was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The Rochester Police Department is still investigating the incident.  No one is in custody at this time.
