Massive house explosion in Gates, NY on Noel Drive

On Wednesday night around 6:12 P.M the Gates Fire Department responded to the area of Lyell Road and Noel Drive in Gates for a report of a house explosion.

When firefighters arrived on scene they found a house fully engulfed in flames along with two neighboring homes on fire. Gates Fire Department quickly called for a 2nd and 3rd alarm fire. The fire was eventually extinguished.

Firefighters have conducted a primary search of the residence, but did not locate anyone. Firefighters will continue to check the residence to confirm that no one was inside the home at the time of the explosion.

As of this time no injuries have been reported.
