Man barricaded in home with baby in Fort Lauderdale

Around 5:30 P.M. Fort Lauderdale Police Department Swat Team and Negotiators were called to 702 NE 13th Ct for a male possibly armed inside of the home with a baby. About 45 minutes later the male came out of the home unharmed and was taken into custody.

The baby inside of the home was also unharmed and taken to safecare.

Fort Lauderdale Police Department opened the road shortly after the incident and no further information has been released at this time.
