Male shot on Lyell Ave

The Rochester Police Department confirmed that shortly after 9:30 P.M. Monday a male walked to a Rochester Fire Station located on Lyell Avenue to receive help after being shot.

The male was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by ambulance where he is in stable condition. His injuries are non-life-threatening.

The incident is under investigation with no suspects in custody.
