Male shot and killed on Wilkins Street and Joseph Avenue

Rochester Police is investigating a homicide that left one man dead. This happened on Wilkins Street near Joseph Avenue.

Around 10:35 PM Rochester police responded to the area of Wilkins Street and Joseph Avenue for multiple shot spotter activations.

Upon officers looking in the area they discovered a man laying on the ground on Wilkins Street with multiple gunshot wounds.

Unconfirmed information says 2 different guns were used in the shooting.

The unidentified male victim in his 40s is was pronounced dead at the scene.

They are no suspects in custody and police are asking anyone with any information to dial 911.
