Male in critical condition after shooting on Lyell Avenue

On Monday afternoon around 4:13pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Lyell Avenue and Saratoga Street in the City of Rochester for a male that had been shot. As officers arrived on scene, they found a 26-year-old male who had been shot.

The male was transported to a local hospital where he is in critical condition.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident. No suspects are in custody.
