Homicide on Jay Street and Orchard Street in Rochester New York

Around 7 P.M. Wednesday the Rochester Police Department responded to a person shot near Jay Street and Orchard Street. When police arrived on scene, they found blood on the ground but no victim.

The victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle where he was pronounced dead a shortly after. The victim is a 22-year-old male.

Police are still investigating and no suspects are in custody.
