3 people shot overnight including 16 year old hit with stray bullet

Just after midnight the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Lake Avenue and Ridge Road for a report of a person shot.  As officers arrived on scene, they found a 45-year-old male, who is from Webster sitting in a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his upper body.  The male was transported via ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

 

Detectives with the Rochester Police Department believe the incident occurred on Owens Street.

 

No suspects are in custody.

 

A second shooting came in around 2am on Saturday morning.  The Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Conkey Avenue and Avenue D with a report of a person shot.  When officers arrived on scene, they located a 42-year-old male, who is from Syracuse, NY sitting in a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his upper body. 

 

While officers were investigating the scene, they located a 16-year-old female who had also been shot.  The female lived in a home on Conkey Avenue and was struck by a stray bullet. 

 

The male and the female were both transported to a local hospital where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

 

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident and currently has no suspects in custody.

 

Anyone with information on either of the shootings is asked to call 911.
