Police identify women’s body found on Radio Street

Rochester Police have identified the woman found dead earlier this week on North Clinton Avenue.  Arika Johnson, 28, of Rochester was found dead in the 900 block of North Clinton Avenue Monday afternoon, police said. Officers responded to the home at 1:37 p.m. for the report of an injured woman. Officer arrived on scene and found the women dead. Her cause of death is still under investigation.

A person is in custody, but that individuals name has not been released to the public.

One of the family members tells us they had seen her laying on the ground for hours. I would have never thought that it would be Arika.

The investigation is still ongoing.
