Places for Fourth of July, Downtown closures
There will be several downtown closures in Rochester on the Fourth of July including a part of Main Street.
Several streets and pedestrian walkway closures will be in effect: • Main Street, from St. Paul Street to State Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6 a.m. Thursday, July 4, to 2 a.m. Friday, July 5. • Court Street Bridge, from Exchange Boulevard to South Avenue, will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 - 11:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4. No parking will be allowed on the bridge anytime on Thursday, July 4. • Broad Street Bridge, from Exchange Boulevard to South Avenue, will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 - 11:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4. No parking will be allowed on the bridge anytime on Thursday, July 4. • On July 4, the Frank and Janet Lamb Sister Cities Bridge will be closed from 6 - 11 p.m. and the eastern side of the Genesee Riverway Trail from the Time Warner Cable building to South Avenue will close from 1 - 10:30 p.m. No stopping will be allowed on the Inner Loop or I-490.
