Party in the Park Launches 23rd Summer Season

Mayor Lovely A. Warren invites the community to kick off the summer Five Star Bank Party in the Park series on Thursday with hometown music and a special celebration of Champion Athleticwear’s 100-year anniversary. “These summer concerts are important because they build on Rochester’s great reputation for live music and the arts. And that reputation isn’t just local – it’s international,” said Mayor Lovely Warren. “Now, with these new partnerships, we can make Party in the Park even better. Live music with world-class talent is part of what makes this city a great place to live, work and play.” The series launches with Champion Athleticwear, a hometown night that celebrates local talent, and the company that got its start in Rochester 100 years ago as Knickerbocker Knitting Mills.
