The Lilac festival kicks off to a good start

It may have one of the shortest parades ever in Rochester, but it’s one of the most successful and popular festival. The parade was about an hour long most parades last over an hour and a half long. The lilac festival is about a week long and starts in May.

The Lilac festival brings about over 150,000 people every year and I gets better and better.

We interviewed a few people and they tell us this is a good place to bring your family, enjoy the weather, and most of all enjoyed the lilacs.

For next weekend you’re looking at almost 70°, so that means you will see more people at the festival. If you have a problem with parking, the Lilac festival provides shuttle buses to bring you to the festival. So come out have a blast, relax, bring your family, and enjoy the Lilac festival.
