2 shot overnight in separate shootings

Rochester Police were investigating two shootings last night one on Hollenbeck Street. Rochester police said just before 10:15 PM last night.

Rochester police officers responded to Rochester General Hospital for reports of two gunshot wound victims.

Officers arrived quickly and determined that only one victim had been shot with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 30 year old city resident suffered, at least one gunshot wound to the lower body. There are no suspects in custody.

The second shooting occurred on Lake Avenue. A New York State trooper was notified by a nearby driver stating that the car has been shot up.

Shortly after a gunshot wound victim arrived at Rochester General Hospital stating that she had been shot in the same area.

As police investigated, it was confirmed she was shot on Lake Avenue. There are also no suspects in custody for this shooting.
