11-year-old boy shot in his own home on Magnolia Street

The Rochester Police Department responded to the 300 block of Magnolia Street shortly before 9:00 PM for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on scene they located a 11-year-old male who is shot once in the upper body. The young male was inside of his home when shots were fired into his family house. He was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital where his injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

There are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing.

The Rochester Police Department is asking anyone with information to call 911.
